# ProxMan vs HeC

The clearest difference is update cadence: HeC at every 5 days against ProxMan's every 3 weeks. HeC also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 81%). ProxMan's advantage is ratings volume (93 vs 3). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ProxMan sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and HeC sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for ProxMan against 4.7 for HeC. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ProxMan has 93 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 81% of ProxMan's written reviews are positive against 100% of HeC's.

ProxMan ships an update every 3 weeks, HeC every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
