# AutoArchive vs Risby

The clearest difference is update cadence: Risby at every 4 days against AutoArchive's every 8 months. Risby also leads on iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AutoArchive sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Risby sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AutoArchive ships an update every 8 months, Risby every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
