# Flipwise vs Flip

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Flip at none against Flipwise's 1. Flip also leads on ratings volume (5 vs 1). Flipwise's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flipwise sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Flip asks for nothing beyond the download.

Flipwise holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flip has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Flipwise ships an update weekly, Flip every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
