# DispatchLink vs Crime Map

The clearest difference is update cadence: Crime Map at weekly against DispatchLink's every 6 weeks. Crime Map also leads on ratings volume (72 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.3 vs 17.0). DispatchLink's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DispatchLink sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Crime Map sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DispatchLink holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Crime Map has 72 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

DispatchLink ships an update every 6 weeks, Crime Map weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
