# Study Guard vs FlowText

The clearest difference is update cadence: Study Guard at every 2 weeks against FlowText's every 6 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Study Guard sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and FlowText sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Study Guard ships an update every 2 weeks, FlowText every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
