# Study Guard vs Revise AI

The clearest difference is monetization model: Revise AI at freemium against Study Guard's subscription. Revise AI also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.4). Study Guard's advantage is review sentiment (27% vs 0%) and rating (4.6 vs 4.2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Study Guard sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Revise AI sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Study Guard holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Study Guard has 390 ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 27% of Study Guard's written reviews are positive against 0% of Revise AI's.

Study Guard ships an update fortnightly, Revise AI every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
