# Infinite Academics vs Dolphin

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Dolphin at none against Infinite Academics's 1. Dolphin also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (1.3K vs 2). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Infinite Academics sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Dolphin asks for nothing beyond the download.

Dolphin holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dolphin has 1.3K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Infinite Academics ships an update every 5 months, Dolphin every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
