# ALLEYKAT vs Runify

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: ALLEYKAT at none against Runify's 10. ALLEYKAT also leads on review sentiment (96% vs 66%) and update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly). Runify's advantage is ratings volume (245 vs 43) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.2). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Runify sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. ALLEYKAT asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for ALLEYKAT against 4.8 for Runify. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Runify has 245 ratings behind it against 43, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 96% of ALLEYKAT's written reviews are positive against 66% of Runify's.

ALLEYKAT ships an update every 3 days, Runify fortnightly. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
