# HoloModels（ホロモデル） vs Calc

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: HoloModels（ホロモデル） at none against Calc's 11. HoloModels（ホロモデル） also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 78%). Calc's advantage is ratings volume (42 vs 1) and rating (4.2 vs 4.0). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Calc sells 11 one-off in-app purchases. HoloModels（ホロモデル） asks for nothing beyond the download.

Calc holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Calc has 42 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of HoloModels（ホロモデル）'s written reviews are positive against 78% of Calc's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

HoloModels（ホロモデル） ships an update fortnightly, Calc weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
