# Skymind vs StartLife Mental Coach

The clearest difference is update cadence: StartLife Mental Coach at every 5 days against Skymind's monthly. Skymind's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Skymind sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and StartLife Mental Coach sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Skymind ships an update monthly, StartLife Mental Coach every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
