# MyScoreTracker vs TrueTick

The clearest difference is monetization model: MyScoreTracker at free against TrueTick's paid. MyScoreTracker also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (10 vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

MyScoreTracker costs $0.99 and TrueTick $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for MyScoreTracker against 5.0 for TrueTick. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyScoreTracker has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 96% of MyScoreTracker's written reviews are positive against 100% of TrueTick's.

MyScoreTracker ships an update every 5 days, TrueTick every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
