# TierMaker.com vs Nonogram Zen

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Nonogram Zen at 100% against TierMaker.com's 8%. Nonogram Zen also leads on rating (4.4 vs 4.2). TierMaker.com's advantage is ratings volume (1.7K vs 5) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TierMaker.com sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Nonogram Zen sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Nonogram Zen holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TierMaker.com has 1.7K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 8% of TierMaker.com's written reviews are positive against 100% of Nonogram Zen's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
