# Zen Card vs Solitaire Nova

Zen Card and Solitaire Nova both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Zen Card's written reviews are positive against 26% of Solitaire Nova's. Zen Card also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Solitaire Nova's advantage is ratings volume (7.8K vs 422). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Zen Card sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Solitaire Nova sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Zen Card against 4.6 for Solitaire Nova. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Solitaire Nova has 7.8K ratings behind it against 422, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of Zen Card's written reviews are positive against 26% of Solitaire Nova's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
