# Solis vs Mastermind

Solis and Mastermind both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Solis's written reviews are positive against 64% of Mastermind's. Solis also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs monthly). Mastermind's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (53 vs 13). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Solis sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Mastermind sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mastermind holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 13 and 53 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Solis's written reviews are positive against 64% of Mastermind's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Solis ships an update every 3 days, Mastermind monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
