# Mythos vs DecodeHer

The clearest difference is update cadence: DecodeHer at daily against Mythos's every 3 months. DecodeHer also leads on iOS requirement (13.4 vs 17.6). Mythos's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mythos sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and DecodeHer sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Mythos against 5.0 for DecodeHer. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mythos has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Mythos ships an update every 3 months, DecodeHer daily. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
