# IPTV Xtream vs Apex Player

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Apex Player at none against IPTV Xtream's 13. Apex Player also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.0). IPTV Xtream's advantage is ratings volume (250 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. IPTV Xtream sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Apex Player asks for nothing beyond the download.

Apex Player holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: IPTV Xtream has 250 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

IPTV Xtream ships an update fortnightly, Apex Player every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
