# FlagHawk vs Flat Rate Tracker

The clearest difference is monetization model: FlagHawk at free with in-app purchases against Flat Rate Tracker's subscription. Flat Rate Tracker's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 5 weeks). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FlagHawk sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Flat Rate Tracker sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for FlagHawk against 5.0 for Flat Rate Tracker. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 1 respectively.

FlagHawk ships an update every 5 weeks, Flat Rate Tracker every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
