# Taco Primo vs Sift

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Taco Primo at none against Sift's 1. Taco Primo also leads on ratings volume (44 vs 2) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.4). Sift's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, rating, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sift sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $10.00 per month. Taco Primo asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Taco Primo against 5.0 for Sift. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Taco Primo has 44 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
