# Wavepoint vs UpScrolled

The clearest difference is ads: UpScrolled at none against Wavepoint's shown. UpScrolled also leads on ratings volume (3.7K vs 8) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). Wavepoint's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wavepoint sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and UpScrolled sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $15.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

UpScrolled holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: UpScrolled has 3.7K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Wavepoint ships an update every 3 days, UpScrolled fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 27, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
