# Pyrography Patterns vs Drawsy

The clearest difference is monetization model: Pyrography Patterns at free with in-app purchases against Drawsy's subscription. Pyrography Patterns also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 70%) and device support (3 vs 1). Drawsy's advantage is ratings volume (2.6K vs 9) and chart position (#37 vs unranked). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pyrography Patterns sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Drawsy sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Pyrography Patterns against 4.7 for Drawsy. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Drawsy has 2.6K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of Pyrography Patterns's written reviews are positive against 70% of Drawsy's.

Pyrography Patterns ships an update fortnightly, Drawsy every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
