# TaskForge vs PrivaSpend

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: PrivaSpend at none against TaskForge's 3. PrivaSpend also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). TaskForge's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs monthly) and ratings volume (110 vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TaskForge sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. PrivaSpend asks for nothing beyond the download.

PrivaSpend holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TaskForge has 110 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

TaskForge ships an update every 4 days, PrivaSpend monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
