# TaskForge vs TagSpaces

The clearest difference is update cadence: TaskForge at every 4 days against TagSpaces's every 3 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TaskForge sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and TagSpaces sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TaskForge ships an update every 4 days, TagSpaces every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
