# Studley vs ChatEDU

The clearest difference is review sentiment: ChatEDU at 100% against Studley's 50%. ChatEDU also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Studley's advantage is ratings volume (4.4K vs 4) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Studley sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and ChatEDU sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ChatEDU holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Studley has 4.4K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 50% of Studley's written reviews are positive against 100% of ChatEDU's.

Studley ships an update weekly, ChatEDU monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
