# Studley vs Fathomly

The clearest difference is rating: Studley at 4.7 against Fathomly's 4.0. Studley also leads on ratings volume (4.5K vs 2) and update cadence (weekly vs every 4 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Studley sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and Fathomly sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Studley holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Studley has 4.5K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Studley ships an update weekly, Fathomly every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
