# Screen Time Control vs Lusid

The clearest difference is rating: Screen Time Control at 4.6 against Lusid's 4.2. Screen Time Control also leads on ratings volume (36 vs 9) and iOS requirement (16.6 vs 18.0). Lusid's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and review sentiment (80% vs 60%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Screen Time Control sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Lusid sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Screen Time Control holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 36 and 9 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Screen Time Control's written reviews are positive against 80% of Lusid's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Screen Time Control ships an update every 9 days, Lusid weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
