# Mentive vs Printer App

The clearest difference is rating: Mentive at 5.0 against Printer App's 4.7. Mentive also leads on update cadence (weekly vs monthly). Printer App's advantage is ratings volume (36 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mentive sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Printer App sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mentive holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Printer App has 36 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Mentive ships an update weekly, Printer App monthly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
