# X vs TimeSlip

The clearest difference is rating: TimeSlip at 5.0 against X's 4.5. TimeSlip also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10) and update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly). X's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (39K vs 1). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. X sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. TimeSlip asks for nothing beyond the download.

TimeSlip holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: X has 39K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

X ships an update fortnightly, TimeSlip every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 8, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
