# X vs OrbMaster

The clearest difference is price: X at Free against OrbMaster's $1.99. X also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (39K vs 1). OrbMaster's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and in-app purchases (none vs 10). On ads and device support there is nothing between them.

X is free to download; OrbMaster costs $1.99 up front. X sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. OrbMaster asks for nothing beyond the download.

OrbMaster holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: X has 39K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

X ships an update fortnightly, OrbMaster every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
