# Beard Papas vs UMe Tea

The clearest difference is rating: Beard Papas at 4.3 against UMe Tea's 3.4. UMe Tea's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Beard Papas holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 12 and 7 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Beard Papas's written reviews are positive against 67% of UMe Tea's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Beard Papas ships an update fortnightly, UMe Tea monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
