# Beard Papas vs Sharetea USA

The clearest difference is ads: Sharetea USA at none against Beard Papas's shown. Sharetea USA also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Beard Papas's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 18%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Sharetea USA holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sharetea USA has 228 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Beard Papas's written reviews are positive against 18% of Sharetea USA's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
