# Beard Papas vs Bobadex

The clearest difference is ads: Bobadex at none against Beard Papas's shown. Bobadex also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and review sentiment (67% vs 50%). Beard Papas's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (12 vs 4). On price, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Beard Papas holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 12 and 4 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Beard Papas's written reviews are positive against 67% of Bobadex's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
