# MindAscend vs PickUp

The clearest difference is update cadence: PickUp at every 4 days against MindAscend's every 5 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MindAscend sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per year and PickUp sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MindAscend ships an update every 5 weeks, PickUp every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
