# PDFDarkMode vs PolyInvert

The clearest difference is ads: PDFDarkMode at none against PolyInvert's shown. PDFDarkMode also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). PolyInvert's advantage is update cadence (daily vs every 4 days). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PDFDarkMode sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and PolyInvert sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PDFDarkMode ships an update every 4 days, PolyInvert daily. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
