# Bar Exam Prep vs Bargle

The clearest difference is update cadence: Bargle at every 4 days against Bar Exam Prep's every 2 months. Bargle also leads on ratings volume (23 vs 3). Bar Exam Prep's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bar Exam Prep sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $29.99 per month and Bargle sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bar Exam Prep holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bargle has 23 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Bar Exam Prep ships an update every 2 months, Bargle every 4 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
