# Y/n vs Hangjam

The clearest difference is ads: Y/n at none against Hangjam's shown. Y/n also leads on review sentiment (60% vs 40%) and ratings volume (5.8K vs 882). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Y/n sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Hangjam sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Y/n against 4.4 for Hangjam. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Y/n has 5.8K ratings behind it against 882, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 60% of Y/n's written reviews are positive against 40% of Hangjam's.

Y/n ships an update every 2 weeks, Hangjam every 9 days. Both last shipped on October 28, 2026.
