# Pomodoro Timer vs PACE_APP

The clearest difference is rating: PACE_APP at 5.0 against Pomodoro Timer's 4.8. Pomodoro Timer's advantage is ratings volume (15 vs 3) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 26.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pomodoro Timer sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and PACE_APP sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PACE_APP holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pomodoro Timer has 15 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Pomodoro Timer ships an update every 6 days, PACE_APP every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
