# Picky Chefs vs Bite

The clearest difference is ads: Bite at none against Picky Chefs's shown. Bite also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 8 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Picky Chefs sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Bite sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Picky Chefs ships an update every 8 months, Bite every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
