# BREAKFREE vs Samtpfoten

The clearest difference is ads: BREAKFREE at none against Samtpfoten's shown. Samtpfoten's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 8 days) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BREAKFREE sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Samtpfoten sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BREAKFREE ships an update every 8 days, Samtpfoten every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
