# Compass vs Great Job Button

The clearest difference is update cadence: Compass at every 2 weeks against Great Job Button's every 6 months. Compass also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 26.2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Compass sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Great Job Button sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Compass ships an update every 2 weeks, Great Job Button every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
