# Rise vs Wispernotes

The clearest difference is update cadence: Wispernotes at every 3 days against Rise's weekly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rise sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Wispernotes sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Rise ships an update weekly, Wispernotes every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
