# LytranCloud vs Altitude

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: LytranCloud at none against Altitude's 1. LytranCloud also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). Altitude's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 8 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Altitude sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. LytranCloud asks for nothing beyond the download.

LytranCloud ships an update every 8 months, Altitude every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
