# Extender vs ContactExport+

The clearest difference is ads: Extender at none against ContactExport+'s shown. Extender also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). ContactExport+'s advantage is update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 8 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Extender sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and ContactExport+ sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
