# PEDIGRI vs GallosApp

The clearest difference is rating: GallosApp at 5.0 against PEDIGRI's 4.7. GallosApp also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly). PEDIGRI's advantage is ratings volume (15 vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PEDIGRI sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and GallosApp sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $10.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GallosApp holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PEDIGRI has 15 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

PEDIGRI ships an update fortnightly, GallosApp every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
