# Koru vs Tiny Concepts

The clearest difference is monetization model: Koru at freemium against Tiny Concepts's subscription. Koru also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (daily vs fortnightly). Tiny Concepts's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ratings volume there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Koru sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $5.99 per month and Tiny Concepts sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Koru against 5.0 for Tiny Concepts. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 1 respectively. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Koru ships an update daily, Tiny Concepts fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 23, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
