# Transync AI vs Record Lectures

The clearest difference is rating: Record Lectures at 5.0 against Transync AI's 4.6. Record Lectures also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 weeks). Transync AI's advantage is ratings volume (195 vs 1) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Transync AI sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and Record Lectures sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Record Lectures holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Transync AI has 195 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of Transync AI's written reviews are positive against 67% of Record Lectures's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Transync AI ships an update every 2 weeks, Record Lectures every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
