No subscription; an optional one-time purchase removes ads. The app and all prompts are in English. TAKE TURNS Truth or Dare: choose before you see the prompt, or swap it for another. Timed games can also play without a timer. Ads stay outside active games and conversations. MORE THAN SMALL TALK Explore 1,371 conversation prompts across nine categories, from quick icebreakers and shared memories to thoughtful questions for friends and couples. Two people choose which questions include both of them. Mix categories for your group or keep your own questions in a private library. Conversations have no penalties. KEEP IT IN THE ROOM No account. No online matchmaking. No answers recorded. Gameplay works offline; ads and purchases need an internet connection. Play your last setup again from Home in one tap. For adults 21+. Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Conversation Starters at none against Talkbox's shown. Talkbox's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 7 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.
