# Connect The Balls vs Stack Blocks

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Stack Blocks at none against Connect The Balls's 14. Stack Blocks also leads on review sentiment (50% vs 33%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.2). Connect The Balls's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (286 vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Connect The Balls sells 14 one-off in-app purchases. Stack Blocks asks for nothing beyond the download.

Connect The Balls holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Connect The Balls has 286 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Connect The Balls's written reviews are positive against 50% of Stack Blocks's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Connect The Balls ships an update every 5 days, Stack Blocks every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
