# Paranotes vs EpicDraft

The clearest difference is update cadence: Paranotes at every 3 days against EpicDraft's every 2 weeks. EpicDraft's advantage is device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Paranotes sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and EpicDraft sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per 3 months. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Paranotes ships an update every 3 days, EpicDraft every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
