# Kalam vs Badawi

The clearest difference is ads: Kalam at none against Badawi's shown. Kalam also leads on ratings volume (6.8K vs 1) and chart position (#137 vs unranked). Badawi's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 10 days). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Kalam sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Badawi sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Badawi holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kalam has 6.8K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Kalam ships an update every 10 days, Badawi every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
