# Flight Tracker vs Status.Flights

The clearest difference is ads: Flight Tracker at none against Status.Flights's shown. Flight Tracker also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and ratings volume (15 vs 5). Status.Flights's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 10 days) and review sentiment (100% vs 91%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flight Tracker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Status.Flights sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flight Tracker holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 15 and 5 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 91% of Flight Tracker's written reviews are positive against 100% of Status.Flights's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Flight Tracker ships an update every 10 days, Status.Flights every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
